Which Theologian Are You?
Evidently, about half of my small group wasn't able to access the Theological Worldview quiz last week because their work filters blocked it for "porn content." Great. Leave it to the discipleship pastor to lead their small group into bad websites. I guess these quiz sites have the potential to be bad.
At the risk of causing more trouble, here is another quiz: Which Theologian are you? Some of these questions are weird-- and opposing questions don't cancel each other out. Hence, my struggle between Arminianism and Calvinism is once again apparent. I don't like the pelagianism comment. Actually, I think a lot of this quiz is pretty messed up. Some of the questions are really bad.
You scored as Charles Finney, You're passionate about God and love to preach the Gospel. Your theology borders on pelagianism and it is said that if God were taken out of your theology, it would look exactly the same.
Charles Finney | 80% | ||
John Calvin | 67% | ||
Karl Barth | 67% | ||

Jonathan Edwards | 40% | ||
Augustine | 33% | ||
Jürgen Moltmann | 20% | ||
Paul Tillich | 20% |

A year ago I wouldn't have known who most of these guys were. But now, after a year of historical theology classes, I can actually speak the language of dead theologian guys.
Now I have to figure out if that's a GOOD thing :).
Jon is one step (or maybe a bunch of steps ahead of me). Apparently I am Anselm. Time to Google...
I'm terrified, because I'm 73% John Calvin.
Terrified.
Hiding under my bed chewing my nails.
I like Anselm! My mom scored as him a year ago and freaked out a little because he's a Catholic theologian and she's Southern Baptist. She's a closet liturgist.
Elaine- that cracks me up! I am laughing so hard. You just can't escape it!!
No worries. I was a bit concerned about being Finney and having the word pelagian thrown around my characterization. I think the test is messed up. That's my official position! :)
I scored high with Martin Luther, which makes sense because my last test had Catholicism at the bottom of the page!
