Another Curriculum Done
I just printed out the last note set for Theology 101. Whew. I think I've read over 2,000 pages from about a dozen different books and researched countless other sources to prepare for this class over the past two months. I thought about celebrating by enjoying one of those Snickers bars that that the Bolivia missions team left downstairs. That would be bad. I should celebrate by cleaning out all these files of notes and re-shelving the books. That would be good. For now, I think I'll just split it right down the middle and celebrate by making a list of the books that I want to read now. At the top of the list are:
- Making Small Groups Work (Cloud and Townsend) **I can't believe I've not read this whole book.
- Just Walk Across the Room (Hybels) ** I started reading this last summer and then got distracted.
- Ancient-Future Evangelism (Webber) ** This one's been on my shelf for a couple of years now.
- The Like Jesus But Not the Church (Kimball) ** I've been wanting to read this one since I heard him speak at the Fusion Conference.
