Empowering People
The Buzz Conference is all about Luke 14:23, compelling people to come into the church.
But what compels them to stay?
One of the Buzz attendees approached one of our conference volunteers and asked her that very question. As she related the story to me later, she said she had never really thought about it before. But the reason she stayed was because we empowered her to be a leader.
That's what it's all about. And that made my day!

Appreciated your comments on the Holy Spirit talk in Alpha as well. I went to an Alpha pastors conference a few years back and there were over 200 pastors from every denom known. I saw Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, etc...receive with such graciousness....it was wonderful.

Heather, I just want to tell you, you were awesome! Bob and I talked about you all the way back to the hotel on Thursday night. We felt that you were very eloquent, and effective communicator. Thank you so much for being so hospitable, and we hope to see you guys again.

Mark- thanks so much. It was great having you guys there. By the way, I noticed that you said you really liked our bass player. I gotta brag on that guy. It's Nathan Gonzales. He works a full time job and still manages to play on our worship team AND be a zone leader in our small group ministry. He's incredibly gifted.
